Generations After hosts a discussion group for children (2G) and grandchildren (3G) of Holocaust survivors who wish to share their family Holocaust stories and the impact on their own lives.
The theme for 2015-2016, is to discuss how being a 2G or a 3G has influenced our lives, our choice of professions, our families and our views as well as our actions about social justice.
Following the speakers, there is open discussion facilitated by Dr. Phyllis Palm, a retired psychologist from New York City, where she also taught and consulted with the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. Dr. Palm is also the daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors.
The discussion group is solely for children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. It is held the first Wednesday of each month at the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus. Meetings are free and light refreshments are served.
